What is the CLM?

The Christian Life Movement (Movimiento de Vida Cristiana - MVC) was born in 1985, in Lima - Peru. At that time a number of initiatives from members of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae, now a Society of Apostolic Life, had already begun to bloom. Luis Fernando Figari, the Founder of the Sodalitium, conceived the idea of gathering those people and initiatives together in an ecclesial movement.

Our presence in the UK

The presence of the CLM in the United Kingdom started with the arrival of a community of the Marian Community of Reconciliation (www.fraternas.org) in Manchester in August 2004. The fraternas arrived in England through the invitation of the Bishop of Salford. In their work, they seek to help in the pastoral of the Diocese at the same time supporting the growth of the CLM in the UK.
